Biography

Tunç Doluca was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, and holds a BSEE degree from Iowa State University and an MSEE degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Tunç has 40 years of technical experience and executive leadership in the semiconductor industry. He has served as the president and chief executive officer of Maxim Integrated since 2007. In this role, he has led multiple strategic initiatives that transformed the company’s operational and manufacturing execution, including the alignment of product development with end markets and the transition of Maxim Integrated’s manufacturing to a more flexible hybrid production model.

Previously, Tunç held a variety of management positions at Maxim Integrated, including leading Research and Development and serving as group president of its portable, computing and instrumentation electronics business units. He has designed over 40 products and holds 11 patents. Currently, he serves on the boards of Maxim Integrated, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), and Western Digital. He is also the author of “Maximum Impact,” the remarkable story behind the early years of Maxim Integrated.

Tunç and his wife Lale, have two adult daughters, and one grandson and reside in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
