Who is Ayhan Öztürk?
He continued his music education in Istanbul Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 1995. He got into the Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty Music Teaching Department in 2000 and the master’s program of the same university in 2005.
During this time, he achieved degrees in composition competitions held in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. He took part as a choir conductor-composer in in-school and out-of-school concerts. Some of his works were performed by Istanbul Fine Arts High School Choir and Orchestra, Marmara University Polyphonic Chorus and Orchestra, and TRT Children’s Choir, and some were performed by local music ensembles in various concerts and competitions in Turkey and abroad. During his postgraduate education, He worked with Prof.Dr.Yücel Elmas in the field of Choir Education and Management. Between 2015 and 2019, he completed Orff-Schulwerk Elementer Music and Movement Education Level Development Courses I-II-III organized by Turkey Orff Center.
He still works as a music teacher at Terakki Foundation Schools in Istanbul. He produces content consisting of songs and games for children for the Festival Children’s TV YouTube channel.
