And Ozbay was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He holds a PhD in Systems Science from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree from Bogazici University.

With 20 years of experience in online marketplaces, And has held leadership positions at renowned companies such as eBay, Groupon, Pinterest and Etsy, focusing on big data, data science and machine learning. He is currently an advisor to early-stage startups and the founder of Innervu.

And lives in San Jose with his wife, Tugba, and their two sons, Hakan and Kaan.
